years before inkopolis plaza, the tutorial area of splatoon 2 in the backstreets of inkopolis square was the hub of the city's fashion culture.
the first firefin brand shirts were sold here by artists named Saygo and a75ching.

funny thing is, this was in what was supposed to be a "review" section of splatoon's story in the October 2018 issue of Nintendo Dream magazine.

Splatoon series really needed a high quality timeline video with in-depth research, didn't spread misconceptions, and referenced JP sources outside the game to get the full picture of the game's world and characters.
