To clarify: I think the #AbolishICE movement is a mistake, & I regret jumping on that bandwagon. The GOP has twisted it 100% to their propaganda advantage, claiming, “Look, liberals want NO immigration enforcement!" And that's not true.

We need Immigration/Customs enforcement. When I said "I support ICE", that's what I mean: I support immigration/customs enforcement, & ethical officers doing that job. I DON'T support ANY org that engages in racial profiling, civil rights violations, or a lack of due process.

ICE's policies were already problem under Obama, but it's gotten so much worse under Trump & Sessions, & we're at the point where we're seeing horrific human rights violations. The current ICE organization's policies are corrupt & barbaric. It has to stop.

But it comes from the top. An administration guided by avarice & hate is the real problem and the only solution is to #VoteThemOut, then restructure our immigration/customs agencies to enact ethical, transparent policies that reflect our core American values.
