I'm excited to announce I was asked to compose for Game Freak's "Little Town Hero" (formerly known as Town). It was an honor to have many of my songs arranged by the amazing Hitomi Sato-san, too (known for Pokemon Black and White).

I wrote more beforehand but I'm so shocked that Sakurai-san talked about our meeting. If he's going to mention me, then I have to tell everyone that we listened to a CD of Smash music as he drove me home in his car (which I kept calling his Batmobile)

I didn't have a translator with me so I had to use my own broken Japanese to talk about Smash. It was one of the most surreal (and fun) experiences of my life. I'll never forget it.

I want to share some small things from DR but I want to do another small progress update first.

The design of the actual game and the specifics of what happen are going really well. I have a lot of confidence in the game that is currently written in my notes. At least, I think people that enjoy the things that I make, will enjoy it. That's all I'm ever aiming for.

There are other aspects that are facing some hurdles, but they'll definitely get overcome. Trust me when I say that, although I want to take my time making an excellent game, I also want to get the game into peoples' hands as quickly as possible. Seriously.
