People often surround themselves with expensive/ designer goods on instagram because they don't feel whole. We try to derive internal self worth from EXTERNAL items, which is why, no matter how much a person buys, it will never 'complete' them internally. So they keep buying.

I think what TikTok etc have proven is that the concept of a hit in major labels has been very limiting to artists who were trying to translate something new. I’m so happy that the music landscape is moving in the artist’s favour now.
