Wife has been reading the One Piece manga at a fast pace to keep up with the "read for free" deal happening in Japan right now. The last few days she`s blown past the Drum Island, Alabasta, and Skypiea arcs. Here are her thoughts...

Prediction: Something big is coming in the ONE PIECE manga very soon. Multiple “everyone’s losing and miserable” chapters in a row leads me to believe a Super Saiyan-like explosion is coming. (Devil Fruit Awakened Luffy?)

Wife finished reading through the Enies Lobby arc in the One Piece Manga. She says Robin`s flashback was probably the best flashback (I agree btw) & for the first time the "bigger story" is coming into view. Merry scene was of course sad & Franky is great. Garp`s also very cool.

With One Piece episode 1057, the final acts of Sanji & Zoro`s fights are now underway.
We`re in the endgame now folks.
It also occurs to me that the countdown to the episode I`ve been working on is (and has been) in the single digits. 😱😱😱

I read the comments I get & just laugh & laugh. I appreciate the kind ones(Much love) But I swear some people seem to think I’m single handedly responsible for the OP anime. Someone just told me to improve my Sanji in the future.
I’ve…never even worked on a Sanji scene though.😅

Had the weekend off & was able to catch up with Chainsaw Man, Hero Academia, & Bleach.
All 3 of those productions look amazing. Anime fans should feel very lucky. Clearly the industry is in moment where many high quality productions can get produced at the same time.

If he did ... the animators would literally all die. 😅
If I was told to draw luffy in this outfit for 100 key frames and have it finished in 2 weeks ... I`d just jump off a bridge.

Our studio @dartshtajio assisted @powerhouseanim w/ Castlevania S3 ep10! We got AMAZING rough animation by @_tamlu & finished them up. If you think these shots had a little extra detail/smoothness,etc, Maybe just maybe we had something to do with that.😉

赤鞘の白黒シーン（特に錦えもんが廊下を走ったシーン）を担当しました。

I’m at the “バナナワニ” (Banana-Alligator) park in Izu-Atagawa checking out animals... and apparently this park was the inspiration behind the Banana Alligator character that appears in the ONE PIECE series. (They even have a display case talking about it)

Wife finished reading through Sanji`s story arc in the One Piece Manga.
Her thoughts: Sanji & Zeff`s flashback made her cry for the 1st time in the series. Sanji is her favorite character at this point. "A cool guy who can cook!" Luffy`s also growing on her more w/ each arc.

Nightmare (for an animator) sequences to clean up right now. Tons and tons of little parts, all with highlights and shadows… but you know what?
The fans deserve it damn it.

One Piece Film RED, in its final days, surpassed Howl’s Moving Castle as the 8th highest grossing film EVER in Japan.
Congrats to the staff and all the One Piece fans around the world.
I guess Howl’s Castle can MOVE it’s ass down to 9th place. 😂
