Drew animation for next week’s One Piece episode 1033. Should be a pretty wild scene.

To all the ridiculous people messaging me about how I’m ruining the One Piece anime & turning it into Dragonball, I want you to know I laugh hysterically at all your messages & show them to my wife & friends.
As if I, a single artist have that level of control over the series.😂

At the last minute I helped out with 2nd key animation for some of animation director Tu Yong Ce`s sequences for One Piece episode 1026. Nothing big, but always glad to help! 😁

Ahead of Berserk’s continuation I want to state: I don’t want to hear *any* complaining about art style.
If it matches Miura’s style, if it misses the mark, if it’s simplistic scribbles. Don’t care.

Dragonball Super: Super Hero is a *lot* better then I thought it would be.
It still has (for me) “Super’s” flaws & some won’t like it just cause it’s not 2D. But the 3D quality, Art direction, and particularly the story *way* exceeded my expectations.

I read the comments I get & just laugh & laugh. I appreciate the kind ones(Much love) But I swear some people seem to think I’m single handedly responsible for the OP anime. Someone just told me to improve my Sanji in the future.
I’ve…never even worked on a Sanji scene though.😅

I wonder what the people who complain every week about TV anime think about older series, the one’s I grew up loving. DBZ, Yuyu Hakusho, Hokuto no Ken, Berserk, Kenshin etc.
They rarely had “insane/smooth” animation. Just great art, great characters & story, & were perfect as is.

And just cause I know you don’t like it, I’m gonna make it an even bigger aura next time. Blue and red flames all at once, multiple layers going at the same time.

I did some key animation for One Piece episode 1018. The last few months I was busy with 1017 so I could only do a little bit here. Nothing huge. But I`m glad I finally got to draw Zoro!😁

On top of storyboarding, I also animated a LOT for One Piece 1017. Almost exactly 2 minutes’ worth.
First, I animated Kid`s transformation sequence. Kid hasn`t gotten the spotlight some other characters have in One Piece, so I hope fans feel like I gave him a moment to shine.

One Piece episode 1017 is my storyboarding debut in TV Japanese anime!
I did a ton of work on this episode, so indulge me as I ramble for a minute here.
I storyboarded 25% of the episode. From the 1st sequence, through the transformations & everyone`s first set of attacks.

If you`re a fan of the animation process (a "sakuga fan") Remember when watching One Piece 1017 that this was done by a studio that`s made a new episode of this series essentially non-stop for 23 years. NO breaks. No Seasons. Yet was still able to accomplish this. It`s unreal.

1017 will be the most I have EVER contributed to a single episode of anime. I animated & clean up 2 whole minutes & storyboarded the first 1/4 of the episode making it my storyboarding debut on TV anime!

Nightmare (for an animator) sequences to clean up right now. Tons and tons of little parts, all with highlights and shadows… but you know what?
The fans deserve it damn it.
