During a military exercise in northern Israel, an IDF soldier passed away today after extensive resuscitation efforts. The Military Police have opened an investigation into the matter.

An assailant approached & attempted to stab IDF troops operating near a refugee camp southwest of Hebron this morning. The troops thwarted the attack; no IDF casualties.
The assailant was evacuated to a hospital for medical treatment.
