Following the recent rise in terrorist activity, the IDF and Israeli security forces conducted joint counterterrorism activities in Judea and Samaria overnight. 11 terror suspects were apprehended. Our soldiers will continue to defend Israelis from the threat of terrorism.

Our troops spotted armed suspects crossing the Alpha Line into #Israel near the #Syrian border fence in the Golan Heights. In response, our troops fired towards them. We will continue to operate against violations of Israeli sovereignty & the 1974 Separation of Forces Agreement.

We just apprehended a suspect who crossed from #Gaza into #Israel. Our soldiers located a suspicious object near where the suspect was apprehended. The suspect is being questioned at the scene & our troops are examining the object.

Our troops thwarted an attempted car-ramming attack against a group of soldiers operating at a checkpoint south of Ramallah overnight. The soldiers responded with fire in order to thwart the threat. No IDF injuries were reported.

Two Patriot missiles were launched at a Syrian Sukhoi fighter jet that infiltrated about 1 mile into Israeli airspace. The IDF monitored the fighter jet, which was then intercepted by the Patriot missiles.
