Don't be afraid to use "bad" options in Fighting Games. I often give my opponents too much credit and avoid using certain tools because I think, "this would never work at high level". Test what you have and force them to deal with it, then change things up when it stops working.

All time high 2848 COVID-19 cases in Tokyo and predicted to spike much higher. We've been suffering through a State of Emergency for months, people are dying, businesses are shutting down, and we are going to pay for it with our taxes.

Just an observation, but Japanese #GGST players have been putting out a lot of tech/info on how to beat their own characters. Teaching others how to beat you forces you to improve, which leads to the scene getting stronger overall. Wonder if we will see more of this in the West.

The easiest Blazblue character is more difficult to pick up than the hardest Guilty Gear Strive character. It's not that Blazblue is an incredibly hard game, it's just that Strive is incredibly easy. Anybody can learn Blazblue, but just be aware that it takes some time. #BBCF

Tekken discussion is always so funny because it's dudes with 15+ years of legacy skill telling you the game is not hard. Speaking as a newer player, Tekken is IMO the hardest game to get "good" at because of the sheer amount of characters/moves/knowledge required. BUT..
