Nothing more annoying than people who keep score during casual sessions. Not every game is played to win; sometimes you want to test out a setup or defensive options in an actual match. Random stream monsters posting "Score is 4-2" get shot on sight.

Reminiscing about Arcades being a great place to learn is just a case of Survivorship Bias. The reason why they were full of serious and motivated players was because they were the only ones who stuck around. Way more people got gatekept and lost motivation.
