Instead of sharing with them economic empowerment strategies, Mr Museveni’s Minister tells people not to associate with @People_Power_Ug. There's only one reason as to why; As #PeoplePower, we spread the truth the NRM has for long tried to hide from Ugandans. We shall not stop! twitter.com/ntvuganda/stat…

What can one say? They pass unfair taxes against the poor people and demand that the poor people pay those unfair taxes for them! Last year when we protested against the OTT tax many colleague MPs came out to defend it. What a shame.

Today, I face charges & was jailed over the same protest! Some MPs who earn much more than the common person, think that the poor person should pay that tax for them! How ridiculous! How callous! Comrades, the only thing required for evil to reign is for good people to keep quiet

Thanks Joel, for accepting this responsibility, which I know is a sacrifice. I encourage all Ugandans- young, old, men, women, educated and not educated- to take on the mantle & work for our nation's redemption. No one else will do it for us- it is us we have been waiting for!

He is encouraged by the great display of love he received from the thousands of fellow prisoners who have been defiantly chanting and singing songs of freedom from the time he arrived there. Even when he is not permitted to interact with, or even be seen by most of them.
