@daddyhope Always a pleasure to work with like minds. Since the bad guys are united in their evil, we the good guys must unite in our pursuit for common good.

Earlier, the @NUP_Ug Secretariat hosted some of our leaders from Northern Uganda, specifically the subregions of Karamoja, West-Nile, Lango and Acholi. They addressed the press about the ongoing killings in Karamoja and joined all of us in mourning the late Speaker of Parliament.

Catching up with this courageous brother @Timothycho08 and hearing his amazing story of how he escaped from a North Korean prison and and now lives in exile in the UK. He did not give up fighting for the freedom of those he left behind. #GenevaSummit2022

On this day 54 years ago, the world lost a moral LEADER who inspired nations and generations. MLK stood for justice, fairness and equality."The arc of the moral universe is long, but it bends toward justice." he said. Inspired by his legacy, let's continue pursuing good over evil

If you're not ready to hear the truth, keep your microphone away from me. Kati ng'enze Geneva kwogera luzungu.

When the oppressed people unite, the oppressor falls and the reverse is true. Happy Sunday to you all from @GilbertOlanya and myself. #FreePoliticalPrisoners

Sending loving thoughts to my muslim family. Day one of the holy month is done, alhamdulillah. #RamadhanKareem

We visited comrade Sanya Muhdyn Kakooza at Luzira Prison where he was transferred to after being sentenced to 8 months in prison for contempt of the Military Court! His crime was protesting against torture and trumped up charges before Gen. Gutti! #FreeAllPoliticalPrisonersUganda

Comrade Atiku Shaban 53 was assaulted by the military in Arua, 2018. Since then, he's been paralysed one part of his body, unable to walk. We've taken him to several doctors in Uganda, until he was referred to Kenya. We've now taken him to Aga Khan. The price of freedom!

Let's all stand in solidarity with these brothers and sisters. I call on the media to shine a light on what is happening in Karamoja. They need to feel that the rest of Uganda stands with them and that we all understand their pain and suffering. #EndKaramojaMassacres
814
Many times, people from Karamoja have accused security forces of shooting unarmed civilians. There has been no serious attempt to investigate the allegations. In the strongest terms possible, we condemn these massacres and demand that an end is put to these senseless killings.
815
The pictures from Karamoja Sub-region are most disheartening. Very many Ugandans are being murdered in cold blood. The efforts to end this nightmare haven't been serious. The people of Karamoja have been asking critical questions and getting very few answers from the authorities.

If the Prime Minister thinks Seattle is in the UK, why should we be surprised when the Chief Justice thinks KLM is a presidential jet? Increasingly, the only qualification for a job in Museveni's government is singing praises for his dictatorship. Everything else doesn't matter

I appreciate these comrades for their continued commitment to the values of democracy, good governance and the rule of law. Was also particularly glad to meet with renowned journalist and lawyer, General Twaha Ulimwengu.

Very pleased to spend the day with leaders and activists from different EA countries in Arusha. Especially glad to meet with Hon. @freemanmbowetz, the Chairman of CHADEMA. Welcomed him back from 8 months of detention. Also spoke virtually to Deputy Chairman, Hon. @TunduALissu.

In a functioning state, allegations of this nature would be investigated in a transparent manner, instead of intimidating the nation into silence. Every attempt to silence citizens on possible murders only leaves them asking what you're trying to cover up!
820
This shameless man as usual, closes the investigation! No police officer will dare proceed to investigate. Instead, they will hunt those calling for investigations. The first person to say that Rt. Hon. Oulanya was poisoned was his father, who quoted the late Oulanya himself! twitter.com/DailyMonitor/s…
821
@NUP_Ug Some regime apologists have been trying to divert the attention of the nation from the questions being asked. Too bad for them, they too are potential victims of the same system that is being accused of eating its own children. This must concern all of us.
822
Led a team of @NUP_Ug leaders to sign the condolence book for the Rt. Hon. Jacob L'Okori Oulanyah at Parliament. We continue to mourn this fallen son of Uganda, and join his family in demanding for an independent investigation into his untimely death. May his soul rest in peace.
823
Happy earth strong revolutionary rasta @YungmuloUG, more life.
824
I have warmly welcomed him back from captivity, and encouraged him to remain strong and committed to the cause. Like Huey Newton said, "you can jail a Revolutionary, but you can't jail the Revolution". #FreeAllPoliticalPrisoners

Comrade Nkrunziza's plight is similar to that of hundreds of other People Power/NUP supporters who were rounded up towards the 2021 elections and, without appearing in Court, dumped in prisons where they remain to date.
