Masereka's case is one of the many we've filed before courts and other institutions. But these institutions are so weak and intimidated. That's why we filed a complaint at the International Criminal Court. Victims need justice. We want accountability for crimes against humanity.

Last night I asked why UHRC was quick to confirm that @BahatiRemmy's relatives were under arrest, and yet quiet about their illegal detention. How about you call for unconditional release? Failure to charge suspects within 48 hours usually means they're struggling to find charges

9. I hope this explains why we believe that Jamil Mukulu and his co-accused persons are being politically persecuted and they deserve "a fair, speedy and public hearing before an independent and impartial court established by law" as envisaged by Article 28 of the Constitution!
481
8. We OPPOSE terrorist actions in Uganda & anywhere in the world. The NUP government would spare no effort to cooperate with the world in fighting terrorism. But we believe terrorism must not be used as a pretext to violate human rights and purse illegitimate political objectives
482
7. Jamil Mukulu at one point during a court appearance shouted that it was the regime financing them and was silenced. Can we dismiss these allegations without any evidence to the contrary, given the NRM record? Since then he has always been silenced whenever he tries to speak!
483
6. After hearing Kahinda Otafiire's confession + what they did in Buganda, Northern region, Mukura, Kasese, how can one dismiss the idea that the regime had a hand in the atrocities commonly attributed to ADF and Jamil Mukulu? How can the truth come out if there is no fair trial?
484
5. The M7 regime is known to push false narratives. Dr. Besigye was charged with rape. I was charged with possessing firearms. Our 2 MPs are facing fabricated murder charges. How do we conclude that some accusations are not trumped up, in the absence of a trial envisaged by law?
485
4. Gen. Museveni led a war 1980 - 85 that led to death of hundreds of thousands of Ugandans. Gen. Kahinda Otafiire recently confessed they would put on UPC uniforms and commit atrocities in order to paint the Obote regime evil. What would you call such people if not terrorists?
486
3. Some of the co-accused persons were granted bail by court and were immediately re-arrested on gun point! Under our laws, everyone is presumed innocent until proved guilty! Unfortunately, the regime has turned it the other way round- you are guilty until proved innocent!
487
2. Jamil Mukulu and others were subjected to the worst forms of torture- e.g. water boarding. Torture is prohibited internationally. They say they were forced to eat pork and drink alcohol against their religion! In a functional judiciary, such actions would invalidate a trial.

On Jamil Mukulu, regime propagandists are desperately trying to twist my words to fit their usual narrative! I'll clarify as follows;
1. Jamil Mukulu was arrested in April,2015. 8 years later, he hasn't been tried! Why is evidence not brought so that he's convicted or acquitted?
489
5 days later journalist @BahatiRemmy's relatives who were picked up are yet to be produced in court! Regime officials confirmed they 'have' them! The sham Uganda Human Rights Commission confirmed their detention. Why are they silent about their illegal detention beyond 48 hours?

Thank you cde. @ShamimMalende for always being there for our detained comrades. Your efforts may not always yield immediate results, but sometimes when you're in good trouble, all you need is a lawyer to turn up & punch from your corner. Your contribution is appreciated. Respect

If you support Museveni and his regime of blood, you're free to threaten, insult and harass pro-change users. There are no sanctions! But if you're a pro-change user, you live under constant fear that drones will pick you up and the worst follows. The sickening double standards!

This is Ssesaazi Isma's brother. On 19th November 2020, Isma was abducted by soldiers from Makindye. This was during protests that ensued after I was arrested from a rally. Isma was abducted for supporting us. He has never been seen again. Where is Isma? #BringBackOurPeople

I appeal to the world not to look on as Uganda further shrinks into an absolute mess. I appeal to the people of Uganda to muster whatever energy they have and RESIST this madness. I have previously warned against this and it's unveiling before our very eyes. We must stop it!

Let me sound a warning to all governments and international organisations which continue to work with and support Gen. Museveni’s regime of blood - you can see what you have been funding and sustaining all along. It is time to say ENOUGH, because indifference is complicity!
