Since we launched the #NewSouthboundPolicy 2.5 years ago, people-to-people exchanges have been growing steadily. In Jan-Oct this year, our two-way tourism numbers also improved. We hope to welcome more friends from #NSP countries to #Taiwan!

I had an informative meeting with local pig farmers on how we can work even closer to protect #Taiwan from African swine fever. I’ve instructed the Council of Agriculture to develop a comprehensive plan to help our farmers improve biosecurity measures in their operations.
