Today I met with @Europarl_EN Taiwan Friendship Group Chair Michael Gahler, who played an instrumental role in establishing the Formosa Club with #Taiwan Parliamentary Friendship Groups from the #UK, #France, & #Germany this month. I thank him for his unwavering support.

Today we remember all those who fought to defend Kinmen Island 70 years ago. Peace can never be achieved by compromising our beliefs nor by bending to others. We need strong national defense & a sense of solidarity to show the world we are determined to defend our sovereignty.

At today’s Indigenous Historical & Transitional Justice Committee meeting, Masegeseg Z. Gadu was able to give his report on indigenous languages in his mother tongue of Pinayuanan for the first time. The road to justice is long, but we’re committed to walking it together.
