Honored to meet H. E. Tun Dr. Mahathir, former PM of 🇲🇾. We talked mainly on #LookEastPolicy of the past 40 years and a way forward. The policy Tun had initiated in 1982 laid a strong foundation of bilateral relation between 🇯🇵and 🇲🇾. Thank you Tun, and happy recovery.

Today I wore a Batik for the first time since I came to Malaysia. It was quite comfortable! I look forward to wearing Batik for other occasions in the future.
