Today I wore a Batik for the first time since I came to Malaysia. It was quite comfortable! I look forward to wearing Batik for other occasions in the future.

Honored to meet H. E. Tun Dr. Mahathir, former PM of 🇲🇾. We talked mainly on #LookEastPolicy of the past 40 years and a way forward. The policy Tun had initiated in 1982 laid a strong foundation of bilateral relation between 🇯🇵and 🇲🇾. Thank you Tun, and happy recovery.

First Doubles: Rallies between 🇯🇵Hoki-Kobayashi and 🇲🇾Goh-Izzudin were interesting to watch, especially the first set. Malaysian pair gained pace as games went on. Congrats Goh-san and Izzudin-san. I am still hopeful with Japan🇯🇵…#ThomasCup2022

Second Doubles: Koga-Watanabe 🇯🇵 vs Chia-Teo 🇲🇾. Very close and exciting game. Malaysian side had better strategy & energy, and got the match! Congratulations ㊗️Malaysia 🇲🇾 for this victory over Japan 🇯🇵 and good luck in the next stage. I will continue following #ThomasCup2022.

It is really a pleasure to welcome Tun Dr. Mahathir @chedetofficial in Tokyo. His presence at Nikkei Conference attracted lots of audiences. I was impressed by his energy and kindness to the people. #LEP40 is a milestone and we continue to pour new energy into #LEP for 🇯🇵 & 🇲🇾.

After the game with @momota_kento 🇯🇵. Happy to see him back to Malaysia. Due to injury of RHUSTAVITO 🇮🇩, Momota-san only played half of the first set but we hope he can face the next game with a good condition. He is such a popular shuttler in Malaysia🇲🇾 . 次も頑張って下さい❗️
