If y'all haven't seen these, they're preview images of the new 4K Ashita no Joe remaster dropping on Japanese streaming site WOWOW in the next couple days. They will be actually streaming it in 4K, which is fantastic! These images are smol and compressed but look good already!

It's with a heavy heart we see the legendary Kikuchi Shunsuke leave this world almost 90 years after he entered it. From Doraemon to Dragon Ball, he's composed countless iconic compositions for countless iconic works, and to say the world will miss him is an understatement. RIP.

Sorry for the wait! Here's Maple Town Fire Brigade, in which the animals of "New Maple Town Stories: Palm Chapter" teach about fire safety! Never released on DVD, this PSA was only ever available on VHS and 16mm prints... one of which we scanned in 4K!

Circus Productions was one of the companies that helped produce the 1986 Mario anime film, but did you know that they added a little easter egg on Mario's shoe in this shot? It was practically an erased detail until we were able to remaster the movie!
