In 2023 the rate of corporation tax, paid on company profits, will increase to 25%. Even after this change we’ll still have the lowest corporation tax rate in the G7.
We’ll also protect small businesses so only 10% of companies will pay the full higher rate #Budget2021

🆕We’re fast-tracking our plans to scrap the reading tax. From tomorrow, VAT will no longer be paid on e-publications.

The UK owes all ex-servicewomen and men a tremendous debt.
In my budget on Wednesday I’ll announce that employers will no longer pay National Insurance Contributions for ex-forces personnel for the first year of their work.

Every local authority in England has now received the full amount of grant funding they need to support local businesses. Eligible businesses in the retail, hospitality or leisure sectors have started receiving cash grants up to £25,000.

3/ We’re bringing in mandatory reporting for adults working with children.
If they suspect or identify that child is being abused, they must speak out.
Authorities can stop the abuse, put perpetrators behind bars and get victims the support they need much sooner.
