One part I hate about getting better is that I constantly hate my art even things from 2 months ago. I can’t look at it without going “bleuugh gross” I sometimes wonder how often my style changes bc I draw a lot and constantly change things ab my art.

I hope that the passing of Kentaro Miura would serve as a wake up call for everyone to not rush artists or guilt them for going on hiatuses. You never know what’s happening behind the scenes.

Sacrificing sleep and mental or physical health to constantly push content out is a terrible thing that often gets praise in the art world. I’m guilty of both praising artists for sacrificing health/sleep AND ruining my own.
