i just wrote advice for my friend but a thing i did that drove years of improvement with no burnout was learning that art is not precious. buy a thick sketchbook, only use a pen. on the first page, before anything else, draw a little smiley face, and start there.

i think its important that people know the word fujoshi/fudanshi/fujin are literally just used to describe someone who likes the bl genre. it is no more or less than that. saying you think any of these three mean something horrible while claiming you like bl doesnt make sense.
