ちなみにVICEですが、2020年にNetflixで出た「CUTIES」を養護してる記事を複数だしてます。
こういうリアルな子供を使うメディアのほうが確実にやばいのに。
CUTIESの上映は世界中で裁判沙汰になるほど。それでもVICEは最後までCUTIESを守った。
こういうダブルスタンダードは良くない。

アメリカだと「Video Game Violence 議論」（乱射事件はアメリカの銃社会が問題ではなく、ゲームの暴力シーンが悪いという議論）を記事化するメディアは馬鹿にされる。このVICEが主張してる「漫画は性犯罪につながる」と変わりない。
リアルな問題を2次元のせいにするのはただの逃げ道。

ViceのYoutube動画のコメント制限と日本人の地域ブロックは本当に悪質です。
言い返せない日本人作家さんたちを英語で一方的に叩いてる、ただの差別と変わりません。
アメリカ人の価値観で日本のマンガ業界を「ペド業界」と決めつけないでほしい。

Stadia made it so hard for indie devs to put their games on their platform, especially Japanese indie devs.
The "accessibility options" were such a high hurdle that most JP indie devs just didn't bother to put their games on Stadia. Passing Cert was so hard.

Dear indie game devs,
Please don't add 13,000 words of extra text a week before the localization is due and still expect it done by the same date.
You might advocate for "no crunch", but if the people you outsource it to have to crunch, the game was still made with crunch.

The JP media does this all the time. Another recent case with the dude throwing acid at a train station, the media focused on him "liking insects" and "collecting bugs".

Regarding Kadokawa's CEO's comments, I have a feeling it's more talking the talk than walking the walk.
The main discussion was about teenage Gravure idols and how some of them are often "pressured" into photo shoots, or are body shamed as being "lewd". (Some are minors)

For #Tokyo2020 the bilingual interpreters are unpaid volunteers. But back in the 1964 Tokyo Olympics, interpreters were paid.
Of course, access to second language education was nothing like it is today, but it's sad how the skill is deemed "unworthy of pay" now.
