Nintendo will not be shipping individual versions for North America, Europe / Oceania, and Japan like they did for Splatoon 1 and 2.

Mii CPUs have been added to offline modes. To play against Mii CPUs, hold down L + ZL or R + ZR while selecting a difficulty. A sound will play and a Mii CPU will assigned as your opponent.

Nintendo is replacing its multiplayer server system, NEX (used in most, if not all of their online games since 3DS/Wii U), with a new system called NPLN.

a Big Run is announced in advance ➡️ the Big Run starts ➡️ the results are shown after it ends
I’m not sure what exactly is included in the “results”.
The Square may also change in some way.

Looks like players were intended to be able to customize their Inkling or Octoling’s facial features (scars or freckles), but the feature was either cut or delayed.

Starting in version 2.0.0, all players can choose if they want to participate in a Tricolor Battle regardless of who is leading at Haltftime.
You can go solo or play with a friend as a pair.
Every player has a 50/50 chance of attacking or defending.

Nintendo has temporarily removed Rainmaker from rotation in Anarchy Battle because of a bug that can cause the score counter to immediately go to 1 when touching a checkpoint.

When that happens, the “Splatfest Sneak Peek” will begin. If you level up your catalog during the Sneak Peek, you will get Conch Shells for your team.

The King Salmonid chance meter is internally called your “smell”. It is a value between 0 and 5, and increases by 1 every match.

There is a tweet going around claiming that Leif crashes your game if you have presents in your inventory.
This is false.
The provided proof is taken from Google Images. One shows a Switch running CFW on FW 6.0.0. The other is of Yuzu, a Switch emulator.
