While version 3.0.0 does not directly nerf the Crab Tank, it does contain some indirect nerfs:
- Trizooka damage to the Crab Tank armor was increased by 20%.
- Inkjet damage to the armor was increased by 2.5x.

Version 1.2 is now out. This is the first update that this game has received in 10 years.
This patch might fix a severe security exploit. (Recall the Splatoon 2 / Animal Crossing / etc update a while back.)

Animal Crossing: New Horizons has leaked onto the Internet.
The game codename is “Park”.
Contains Havok (physics engine middleware, used in BotW to power its physics) for some reason.
Same engine as Splatoon 2 / SMM2 / ARMS / etc.
Will see if there’s anything else interesting.

A new Wandercrust journey for season 2 was added in SplatNet 3 ver. 2.0.0.
The theme is “Greater Inkopolis”.
There are 10 challenges. The rewards are 6x wallpapers, 3x downloadable stickers, and 1x title.
The completion bonus and necessary points are unknown.

Version 1.2.0 fixes some mistranslations in the Simplified Chinese text.
One change corrects a particularly bad mistranslation: the title “influencer” was translated as “influenza”.
(This might’ve happened because インフルエンザ and インフルエンサー look similar.)

The Crab Tank will be nerfed in version 3.1.0.
A delay of ~20 frames will be added when switching to attack mode, during which it can’t be fired.
In addition, the period of vulnerability when the special ends (where player controls are disabled) will be extended.

Nintendo is beginning to issue console bans (possibly total ban from NSO?) to players who modified the game.
I won’t be going into much detail about how it works, since anti-cheat relies on security through obscurity.

When you play Eggstra Work, the Hazard Level starts at 60%. 🧵
However, if you reach 1.5x or 2x of your quota in a wave, the Hazard Level will increase in the next wave.
This gives you the opportunity to collect even more Golden Eggs.

Just a quick note on Big Run.
There is currently no support for Salmon Run on regular multiplayer stages. There is also no news dialogue.
Nintendo has to update the game to add the missing data.
My guess: first Big Run will be in late October or early November.

It seems that something called “scenarios” may be added to Salmon Run in the future.
This feature appears to be similar to replays, where players can upload their own “scenarios” and download others’ via a “scenario code”.
