After doing a decent chunk of testing, it appears that Flame Body is the only ability in Scarlet & Violet with an overworld function.
Compoundeyes, Synchronize, Super Luck, Static, Magnet Pull, Cute Charm (and likely others) do not seem to work.

It is insane how much a better model can improve a Pokemon design for me.
Still not a fan of Stonjourner but having an actual indented mouth/eyes/leg patterns makes it feel so much less flat. Way better than its drawn-on eyes from SWSH lol
