Tips for getting around twitter’s algorithm (thread)

1. FIND YOUR IDEAL POSTING TIME. Look at your analytics. There’s different peak posting times depending on where you live, what time zone you’re in, where most of your audience is located and what type of post you’re making (text, image, video, etc.)

2. RETWEET YOUR OWN WORK. rt throughout the day. I usually wait until 12 hours after I post to rt to catch the crowd that are in opposite time zones than I am.

5. DON’T ADD LINKS OR VAGUE TAGS TO YOUR POST. Twitter suppresses links. And tags, when it’s not a specific trend (ex. #/characterdesign) looks bot-y and will get your tweet suppressed.
