Okay guys, I need to share something incredibly specific and pathetically trivial about the 3DS instruction manual that has quietly nagged me for almost the system’s entire lifespan

In the section about software icons, the manual uses a seemingly new, high-res icon for New Super Mario Bros. DS that is definitely not the actual icon shown for the game.
…why? Did someone just Photoshop this together? Is this the original uncompressed icon? Where is it from??
