.@MaiaShibutani’s natural rotating direction is clockwise, but we do most of our twizzles counter-clockwise. That means she can do ALL twizzles on BOTH sides equally well. It’s really impressive and it’s one of the reasons why I think she’s the best twizzler in the world.

We always talked with Denis about going to visit him in Kazakhstan. In 2015 we did. Denis organized a skating show and invited us to perform. It was an incredible experience and it changed my life. This is a video we made about the experience.
