The new remaster for FF7 Crisis Core -Reunion- makes me think that it's quite obvious we'll see Angeal, Genesis, Cissnei, etc. in FF7 Rebirth and beyond since their character models are pretty on par with FF7R graphics.

I like how they used the OG Crisis Core character renders juxtaposed with the new Remaster graphics (it's basically a Remake if you ask me lol). Aerith's blue dress is so cute~

I noticed in the CCFF7R trailer that the Buster Sword was changed to reflect the FF7R Buster Sword.
I remember making this observation back in 2020 re: the Buster Sword design being different = alternate timeline/realities.

I was revisiting some cutscenes from 2007's Crisis Core, and wow the CG back then looks amazing and barely outdated.
