According to the #FF7R Ultimania book, Andrea Rhodea and Jules are actually siblings. Jules is Andrea's younger brother.
Note that in the Japanese version, Andrea's name is アニヤン (Anyan) and Jules is ジーナン (Jinan), which led to people thinking they're related.

Nomura mentioned in an FF7 First Soldier stream in January 2022 that Ever Crisis will have an original story revolving around the 3 characters you see in the FF7FS trailer. They also confirmed Nojima is writing a story about Young Sephiroth too.

Regarding the gacha system in FF7 Ever Crisis, the outfits you see Aerith and Tifa wearing are actually not gacha costumes but weapons.
Unique weapons come with their own outfits, and they have a lot of different weapons and costumes planned for various characters. #FF7R

It's interesting that Kingdom Hearts 4 thus far has been introduced with the world Quadratum (Quad = 4) being a "World of Death" 死の世界 where death (死shi) in Japanese shares a synonym with the number 4 (四shi).
