Yesterday marked the end of the Heisei Imperial Era (1989-2019) in Japan and today (1 May 2019) is the beginning of the new Reiwa Era. In a TV Asahi poll, Yuzuru Hanyu was voted the No. 1 Japanese athlete of the Heisei Era. Congratulations to him on a well-deserved award! 🏆
