Shishigari is a short film by Kiyotaka Oshiyama for his new Studio Durian. He storyboarded, animated and directed it singlehandedly. I was lucky to paint all the backgrounds. Music by Kenji Kawai. Here is the Trailer youtu.be/SidvT-JdWWo

Yoichi Nishikawa did a 3 hours live demo at Riot Games about his process of making backgrounds at Studio Ghibli. I was stunned when he handed me the final painting as a gift. @YohIchi_N Thank you so much for sharing some of your knowledge, and the beautiful gift. Truly inspiring.
