I grew up watching and reading Naruto. It is no doubt the anime that's been the biggest impact on me as a kid.

after working on a certain anime recently I learned this simple effect of adding reflective lighting layer and I think it looks so dang cool can't believe I never thought of doing this for animation

Wanted to reflect on my experience so far creating and sharing my first game as an independent developer (HoloCure) to a larger community.
It's been an incredible experience, both as a learning moment but of course also the immense positive reception of the game so far.

The most painful thing about making a game with my co-programmer who is Canadian
The number of times the game has crashed or had bugs because I'd write variable or function names with American spelling like "color" and "behavior" but he'd write "colour" and "behaviour" 😭😭

When I designed Stage 1 in Holocure, I really held myself back in order to make it beginner friendly. But now that people know how to play, the training wheels are off and I can finally unleash my full power

@irys_en I've had to nerf Irys 4 times during development, and as you just experienced in that last run, Irys is STILLL quite literally immortal with the right build! One of the few characters that are truly immortal. That's why your Hp is low!

We anticipated maybe a few thousand people to play, which seemed reasonable, but it turns out there are almost 50,000 downloads in less than 24 hours, and 20gbs worth of data downloaded from the scores database. It's pretty insane, but I'm super thankful for you all playing 😂😭

Thank you everyone that's been enjoying HoloCure! It's been an absolute blast watching you all having fun and sharing your thoughts on the game.
However, it's super unfortunate, but for now I'm going to turn off the leaderboards. You'll still be able to play normally.

Due to the INCREDIBLE amount of people playing, the scores data load has become too much for what we've are able to keep up with and we have to restructure it in a future update
I hope you all understand and continue to enjoy the game!
