There's a variable in Undertale that turns off Alphys' notifications. Planned to let you turn them off manually at one point but didn't.

Her notifications are definitely a highlight for some people but the most annoying part of the game for some other people...

I also think I made Muffet a bit too difficult. She was already "nerfed" a few times during development, so I thought it was enough lol

I think the Mettaton battle was actually the hardest one for me to design. I made a lot of bullet objects/attack ideas I didn't use

I don't remember all the unused attacks but I wanted to have more tiny mettaton robots besides the umbrella ones that blow kisses

If Undyne jumps off the cliff to save Monster Kid, when you fight her, her HP's lowered. I wanted to have her armor cracked too but I forgot

In the past did tell people to hold off speedruning UT on GDQ etc. but it was just a temporary thing to avoid spoiling random viewers

A lot of people ask me how to start making games. Just download some free software (Game Maker? Unity?) and start messing around.

Like, it's VERY basic advice, but "just do it." There're tons of example projects and tutorials to learn from online.

If there was ever an HD remaster of UNDERTALE it should be exactly the same except the annoying dog is in full high quality 3D for no reason

@tobyfox Also the dog constantly emits a cloud of particle effects and if it stays on the screen too long the game crashes

UNDERTALE's almost a year old. Somehow, I feel both "wow, didn't it just come out?" and "THAT WAS BY FAR THE LONGEST YEAR OF MY LIFE"
