I’ve only realized how to draw this kind of rotation to the profile view a few years ago and it can absolutely change the feeling of a pose.

I highly recommend doing this exercise. First draw a pose without reference and then find reference and see where you were lacking. I can personally memorise what to do a lot better that way.
