In Pazundaung tsp tonight: security forces came in the streets at 8 PM sharp and shot slingshots into residences when ppl started to drum as usual. Some houses got their windows glasses cracked.

Breaking: Witnesses say 3 explosions heard from Township administration office in Yankin around 2PM. Cause still unknown. Ambulance & some injured persons spotted. I’m aware that the office is currently occupied by only soldiers since March 7.

This morning, pro-democracy protesters bangs pots and pans, singing revolution songs. It was a brief yet a show of unwillingness towards Myanmar military coup. I saw security forces patrol around the location soon after I met the protesters.

JustIn: A friend of the deceased confirms "Su Su Kyi has passed away". SuSuKyi was shot on March 31 while she was in her company's ferry bus around 4-5 PM in the evening. She worked for South Korean Shinhan Bank, which came into Myanmar in 2016.

Barricades seen in front of police stations in #Yangon. This obviously reduces vehicles’ speed while passing the stations. Some cars drive on opposite lanes, avoiding the barriers.

This morning, some Yangoners say soldiers deployed around the premises, are pointing guns at the vehicles and asking to turn back around. Journalists can’t get a closeup sight of it so far.
