Happy #RAF100 birthday to Flight Lieutenant North. Andy joined us in Nov 17 as the first ‘light blue’ member of Ship’s Company and was the first member of the @RoyalAirForce to go to sea in a QEC carrier. Serving in a @RoyalNavy warship is definitely #NoOrdinaryJob!

Rotary wing flying trials are progressing well and now also include night flying. All aspects of flying from our new ship are being tested and verified, from routines and procedures right down to the optimal brightness of lighting on the deck. #QNLZAtSea
