(1) retyping this: i has a lengthy conversation with a FEW members of the national guard stationed on the roof of my building. they said “the ARNG is not trained to detain, they are trained to kill” i am not sure if this is correct, i just know this is what they said.

(2) one also explained to me (when i asked why they were using real bullets) that their weaponry “isn’t equipped for rubber ones” (???) that their presence “should not make us feel safer” bc people kept thanking him, & he feels it is a very bad thing that they are on the streets

i also heard from my friend who said the news showed a “burning car set by protestors” but didn’t show that it was burning because a woman RAN THE PROTESTORS OVER and tried to flee, so they kept her there to be arrested, she tried to hurt them again, so they flipped her car. so. t.co/wKXKHvkSTK
