i also heard from my friend who said the news showed a “burning car set by protestors” but didn’t show that it was burning because a woman RAN THE PROTESTORS OVER and tried to flee, so they kept her there to be arrested, she tried to hurt them again, so they flipped her car. so. t.co/wKXKHvkSTK

(1) retyping this: i has a lengthy conversation with a FEW members of the national guard stationed on the roof of my building. they said “the ARNG is not trained to detain, they are trained to kill” i am not sure if this is correct, i just know this is what they said.

just got home after a peaceful protest. so much passion & love, people passed out water/snacks, smiling and chanting. the police cornered us in a walled up parking lot, blocked off ALL the streets w tear gas so we couldn’t get out. the crowd had to knock down a fence to escape
