Recently saw a talk with 2 former editors of the Shonen Jump, heard that:
- HxH & Naruto's publications were decided almost instantly - One Piece took a year to be green lit
- Jump allows their mangaka to get up to two series cancelled (Jojo & Slam Dunk were both 2nd chances)
