Masayasu Uchida is a prodigious artist who makes all his compositions with torn paper. I only found out last week that he passed away in 2019 at the age of 97.

I had the chance to meet him at his workshop, a few months before he left us. I discovered an artist full of joy and humor who never stopped making images. His paintings will remain permanently engraved in my desire to transcribe the poetry of the world.
