I really like these designs, some are more applicable to current projects than others. It’s always important to look at this side of my work. I get so bogged down with comic stuff that I have remind people that I have another side.

One of my early renditions of Holocaust from Blood Syndicate when I first started drawing Static. I think I opted to go with his classic look for his first appearance.

This was one my favorite moments in the first issue. I remember thinking “This part is gonna get people.” I tried to play make it as emotional and “Oh shit.” as possible. I hope it had that impact on the readers.
