This was one my favorite moments in the first issue. I remember thinking “This part is gonna get people.” I tried to play make it as emotional and “Oh shit.” as possible. I hope it had that impact on the readers.

Here is my Static Issue 6 Cover! For this cover I wanted to do something different and make it a wrap-around cover done traditional (mostly). This is my last Static Cover for the season and I believe will be released in February. I only have one more issue to draw now!

Double-Bladed Khopesh! A lot of people ask me about this design in particular. As for the horn I believe I was inspired by a the “Greater Kudu”. An antelope native to east Africa. I was really just mixing stuff to see what I could come up with.
