Wouldn't it be fun if Chief Justice Roberts showed his commitment to the perceived legitimacy of the court as a vaguely apolitical body by just retiring during the Biden administration? He's not committed enough to do anything like that, but it's definitely fun to imagine.

Never forget it was the SCOTUS that granted themself the power to overturn laws. This was accepted for hundreds of years because it made it easier for politicians to claim an impartial educated panel made a call. But, now that panel is 100% political. It's broken & needs reform.

This is blatantly unconstitutional. However, the SCOTUS ruled that registering your dissatisfaction with such BS via protest with arms hidden or displayed is entirely constitutional. Perhaps Desantis needs such a visit? They did it to President Obama.
