Canadian Olympic athletes who won medals in either Tokyo or Beijing are being financially rewarded for their efforts — $20,000 for a gold, $15,000 for a silver and $10,000 for a bronze Canadian Paralympians who reached the podium in those same Games won't receive a single dollar

10
The Olympic Paralympic medal funding gap issue is really a microcosm of the broader issue. There needs to be a collective shift on value and importance placed on the Paralympics. Sponsors. Media. Stakeholders. Representation. This is a complete and total communal effort.

Every hotel lobby should have a dog like Winston. He was actually meant to be a guide dog but failed his training mainly because he was too friendly. So now he welcomes people to the @FairmontEmpress in Victoria. Here’s more about Winston: cbc.ca/amp/1.4975838
