"Giorno & Cioccolata's battlefield was the Torre delle Milizie. I originally tried searching for the building around Villa Borghese as shown on the manga's map, but couldn't find it. I happened to find this place after giving up and heading to Piazza Venezia." - Director Kimura twitter.com/namachu/status…

"The Diavolo version of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind OP2 has been broadcast! The added lines were done by a native Italian. The new musical piece was also done with the help of a chorus, giving it a more dignified feel. By all means, watch it!" - Director Kimura twitter.com/namachu/status…

"Director Kimura’s orders were to take the manga's original poses and combine them with Michael Jackson’s ‘Dangerous’. I tried to gather as many elements from it as possible, though I think I could have depicted them better." - Rin Ogawa (dance animator, Ep7 Staff Notes)

"The Anatomy Lesson of Dr. Nicolaes Tulp" was the name of a cancelled Part 4 light novel written by Japanese writer, Otsuichi, with illustrations by Araki. A rough draft was published in a 2002 issue of "Yomu Jump" with full release set for February 2003, but it never happened.
Otsuichi claimed to have written over 2000 pages, but had thrown them all out. Intent on writing a novel that "lived up to the manga", it took him until 2007 to complete it. The finished product ended up being a completely different story titled, "The Book: JJBA 4th Another Day".
@anime_jojo "6 days until the Finale" Artwork is by Shunichi Ishimoto (石本峻一), the Chief animation director of Golden Wind and quite easily one of David Production's greatest assets when it comes to art quality and faithfulness. His drawings are often cited by other staff as "intense".
@anime_jojo Ishimoto has been apart of JoJo's main staff since the beginning and a good amount of its best episodes were supervised by him. His favorite Stand is Silver Chariot, so many of the Polnareff episodes like "Silver Chariot", "Anubis, Part 1" and "Vanilla Ice, Part 2" were his work.
"Blade Runner" was a film that influenced Araki during his early years as a mangaka. He's stated in particular how the character, Roy Batty, portrayed by Rutger Hauer, was the inspiration for Dio's appearance, mainly his blond hair and muscular build. Rest In Peace, Rutger. twitter.com/TwitterMoments…
@anime_jojo "3 days until the Finale" Today's art is also by Haruka Takana (田中春香). Since the previous post was dedicated to her, we'd like to use this one to give a shout-out to Kai Shibata (柴田海), a talented animator responsible for scenes like the ones below.
@anime_jojo "2 days until the Finale" Much like Fugo, today's artwork is by DP's pillar of quality, Shunichi Ishimoto (石本峻一). While currently the chief animation director of Golden Wind, he was also the animation director for the TSKR ovas.
"Here's Chariot Requiem's route during GW Episode 35/36. First, exit the Colosseum, go around the arch of triumph, and walk down Via di San Gregorio. Then, travel at warp speed past a bunch of stuff until you reach Ponte Sant'Angelo, the final destination." - Director Kimura twitter.com/namachu/status…
