I've actually spoken to TPCi about this.
They confirmed to me that this is incorrect.

Oh neat, Game Freak are doing a session at CEDC in August about Pokémon models, specifically about how it has been unsustainable to recreate all for each game and how they've changed their method for Legends, Scarlet & Violet

Yes the Charizard raid is Shiny Locked
No, this isn't dumb. You can only catch the Charizard once, so if it wasn't Shiny locked, you could end up facing a shiny one and being unable to catch.

Leaks.
It's happening so much across the board, but the issue is that while people spoiling themselves with it is fine, people who don't want to see things are getting them too

The fact Dudunsparce and Maushold's alternate forms are 1 in 100 not 1 in 25 certainly makes shiny hunting them a nightmare, especially Dudunsparce as that form is not in the wild/raids

Game Freak are implementing an optional 4 day work week giving employees an extra day off a week for purpose of childcare or family care, able to be done on a monthly basis, to give a flexible work environment where needed i.e. Summer Vacations

There's a lot of discussion about Greninja today, so I'm going to put out probably one of my most controversial Pokémon opinions.
I feel the design of Ash-Greninja is superior to regular Greninja. It is my preferred form.
