In the last few months I stopped writing Meme Anime Girl comics because suddenly I started receiving many rude messages over them, of people telling me it’s dead and that it’s unfunny.
I really had a lot of fun with these comics, but it’s kind of hard making more.

When I started my comic career 8 years ago, I was set to be published in the only manga magazine in my country!
Before the issue where my comic was in could be released, the magazine went bankrupt. All other publishers said "Manga is dead."
So I posted it online!

Our comics are meant to be the social media equivalent of newspaper comics.
Of course, we try some serious stuff sometimes like Goth Girl & The Jock, but I have always felt there's some beauty in simple, short, fun comics that can be enjoyed daily.

I know you guys like them, and I appreciate it, but I wanted to ask, do you enjoy them for the slice of life / gijinka / romance / horror, rather than comedy?
Should we just quit comedy entirely?
