Artists within our studio get paid $2-3k USD a month, paid sick leave, paid vacation, and can take as many breaks as they want within reason if they're burnt out.
They can choose the projects they wanna work on, request project ideas, and edit scripts however they want.

I'm clearing this up because through the years I've heard a lot of stupid stuff, like how we supposedly "under-pay" artists. Felt unfair, since really the reason for our success is that I'm a pretty good business manager. So I decided to just say it, so it's out there.

And of course when we get a big payout from a client, there's a big bonus in it for artists involved.
Did people seriously think our studio could survive off me writing 4-panel comics and underpaying artists?
Everyone would have quit years ago.

Since people keep bringing it up, no, $3k a month isn't life changing. Keep in mind the vast majority of us live in the SEA region, where $3k is closer to $30,000 in buying power. I, as the CEO, also don't get paid more than this.
