Hedy Lamarr (November 9, 1914 – January 19, 2000) was an Austrian-American actress, inventor, and film producer. She was part of 30 films in an acting career spanning 28 years, and co-invented an early version of frequency-hopping spread spectrum.
Philippe Wolfers (1858 - 1929) was a Belgian silversmith and jeweller. His father, Louis Wolfers, was a jeweller. He resided in La Hulpe, where he designed jewellery in the art nouveau style. One of his vases is exhibited at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.
